지난 8월 17일(수) ~ 19일(금) 2박 3일 동안 청심국제청소년수련원에서 재능나눔 워크샵이 있었습니다.

재능나눔프로그램은 일반 대학(원)생 ‘꿈길잡이’ 와 다문화청소년’ 꿈꾸미’가 1:1 짝을 지어 영화, 음악, 미술, 마술, 레크댄스 등 다양한 문화예술분야의 재능을 나누고, 배우며 성장하는 프로그램입니다.

이번 재능나눔워크샵은 여름방학을 맞이하여 꿈길잡이와 꿈꾸미가 커플티만들기, 명랑운동회, 수상레포츠를 통해 더욱 친해지는 시간을 갖고, 무엇보다  매주 1회 만남을 통해 배우고 연습한 재능을 발표하는 뜻 깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.

음악팀은 ”겨울아이’  플룻연주를, 레크댄스팀은 피카츄, 트위스트킹에 맞춰서 신나는 댄스를 ,  영화팀은 ‘달인’콩트 등 그동안 열심히 연습한 공연을 멋지게 발표하였습니다.

Seoul Regional Mentor Training Uses Various Kinds of Material to Improve the Competence of Mentors

The training of the mentors who will participate in the Seoul Regional North Korean Refugee Youth Mentoring Program began last March 21st and the actual mentoring project has been initiated. This years mentoring program is the third project of its kind that is sponsored by the Rainbow Youth Center in cooperation with the Gayang 7 General Community Welfare Center, Gongrung General Community Welfare Center, City Joongrang Youth Center, and Hanbit General Community Welfare Center.

Though applicants were slow to come at first, a total of 50 applicants signed up for the 10 month program and 30 were selected to participate in this days training.

The “Practical Mentoring Lecture” included activities such as viewing a video clip of the 2010 mentor activities, talking with former mentors about their experiences, and receiving training to better understand North Korea refugee youth.

Mentor training participant Jin Yuha(university student) said, “Before I had only a vague understanding about North Korean refugee youth so it was great to meet them face to face. I feel I can better understand them now,” and, “I am eager to meet with my mentee.”

We hope that the 2011 mentor program will be a chance for both the mentor and the mentee to learn and grow.
